Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 500g pork mince
  • 1 egg
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Spaghetti, to serve

Method

  1. Mix mince, egg, breadcrumbs, oregano, salt, and pepper. Roll into balls.
  2. Mix tomatoes, onion, garlic, puree, sugar, and basil in the slow cooker.
  3. Add meatballs.
  4. Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours.
  5. Serve over spaghetti.

Tips

Use half pork, half beef mince for the best flavour and texture.
